About Morgan James Chadwick:
I am a tattooed, bass loving, creative motion graphic designer/animator, and creator of broadcast media, film and interactive websites. Constantly pushing my limits, I strive to create the highest quality work and an overall better experience for the viewer. My work is not only motion graphics, design and audio. It is the expression of an emotional concept through layers of motion, sound and timing, to create an entertaining media rich enviroment.
Fascinated with design and a passion to create, I enrolled in the Art Institute of Fort Lauderdale, FL. During my studies, an audio for video class peaked my interest: sound design for video. This was just the beginning. Realizing the potential to utilize a combination of mediums to portray my message excited me. I finally had an outlet to be creative.
Graduating with an Associate Degree of Science in digital media, I was awarded the prestigious honor of best portfolio.
My first glimpse of the world of video came through my internship with Destination Television, where I found myself behind a video camera and liking it. Gaining valuable camera time and video techniques from industry heads, gave me the insight I needed to learn about video and how it is applied to web and broadcast.
Upon graduation, I was scouted and hired by AgencyNet, one of the top media firms in the U.S., and began working alongside a handful of leading designers in the industry. Here, I was inspired to push the boundaries of my design. Constantly learning and growing as a designer, I quickly established myself in one of the top media firms in the U.S. While at Agencynet, I contributed to many award winning campaigns including cville.ownyourc.com, which won FWA site of the month. A few other notable clients I worked for while at Agencynet include: Bacardi, BBCamerica, Eristoff Vodka, and Ford.
Desiring a change of scenery and to be closer to family in New Mexico and Colorado, I moved to Denver and launched my Xylem career. My roots were now firmly planted. Over the next two years, I produced high quality, award winning media working for clients such as: Duracel, Jimmy John's, Jack Link's Beef Jerky and Jamba Juice to name a few.
What Makes Me Tick:
My love for art and music (mainly dubstep, drum & bass, glitch, and any kind of whompy bass music) began at an early age. Intrigued by music, I started learning audio production and eventually started making my own beats. Finding inspiration in the rhythm of music and art, I often frequent live shows and art exhibits.
Now labeled a free agent, I am currently looking for full time employment as well as freelance work. For questions, comments or more information, please contact me at firstname.lastname@example.org.
